Sunrise Festival, Dong – Ticket Cancellation & Refund Policy
(Valid for event dated 29th December 2025 – 2nd January 2026)
1. General Terms
1.1 All tickets for Sunrise Festival, Dong (“Event”) are non-transferable and non-refundable, except as expressly stated in this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
1.2 By purchasing a ticket, the ticket holder (“Participant”) agrees to this policy and the general Terms & Conditions of the Event.
2. Participant-Initiated Cancellations
2.1 Voluntary Cancellations
If a Participant wishes to cancel their ticket:
• On or before 30th November 2025
→ 75% refund of the basic ticket price
→ 25% retained as cancellation & processing fee
• 1st December 2025 – 15th December 2025
→ 50% refund of the basic ticket price
→ 50% retained as cancellation & processing fee
• 16th December 2025 onwards
→ No refund will be provided for any cancellation, regardless of reason (personal, medical, travel-related, etc.)
2.2 No-Show
No refund, reschedule, or credit will be provided if a Participant fails to attend the Event.
2.3 Partial Attendance
If a Participant attends only certain days/sessions of the Event, no partial refund will be issued.
3. Event Rescheduling, Postponement, or Cancellation by Organiser
3.1 Full Cancellation of the Event
• If the Event is fully cancelled by the organiser for reasons other than Force Majeure, Participants will be entitled to a 100% refund of the basic ticket price.
• Convenience fees, payment gateway charges, travel costs, accommodation bookings, or personal expenses will not be reimbursed.
3.2 Postponement / Change of Dates
• Existing tickets will remain valid for rescheduled dates.
• Participants unable to attend the rescheduled dates may request a 75% refund of the basic ticket price within 7 days of the official announcement.
• No refund requests will be accepted after this 7-day period.
3.3 Changes to Schedule / Line-up / Activities
• The organiser may alter the schedule, line-up, activities, or specific experiences without prior notice.
• Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund as long as the core Event is still taking place.
4. Force Majeure
4.1 Definition
“Force Majeure” includes but is not limited to:
• Natural disasters (landslides, floods, earthquakes, storms)
• Extreme weather conditions
• Political unrest, riots, curfews, local restrictions
• Acts of government or authorities
• Pandemic/epidemic situations, travel bans
• Any event making it unsafe or impossible to conduct the Event
4.2 Impact on Refunds
• The organiser may, at its discretion:
– Offer partial refunds, OR
– Provide credits/vouchers for future events, OR
– Reschedule certain activities
• The organiser is under no obligation to provide a full refund in Force Majeure scenarios.
4.3 Final Decision
All decisions regarding refunds or credits in Force Majeure situations will be final and binding.
5. Ticket Transfers & Name Changes
5.1 Tickets are generally non-transferable.
5.2 In genuine cases, name changes may be considered subject to:
• Written request by the original ticket holder
• Payment of applicable name change fee
• Approval by the organiser or ticketing partner
5.3 The organiser may refuse name change requests without assigning any reason.
6. Refund Procedure
6.1 Eligible refund requests must be submitted through the official email or ticketing platform used for purchase and must include:
• Order ID / ticket number
• Participant name and contact details
• Reason for cancellation
6.2 Approved refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment where possible.
6.3 Refunds may take 7–14 working days to reflect, depending on the payment gateway/bank.
6.4 Payment gateway charges, convenience fees, and platform fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
7. Third-Party Bookings (Travel, Stay, Packages)
7.1 The organiser is not responsible for any independent arrangements, including:
• Travel (flights, trains, buses, taxis)
• Accommodation (hotels, homestays, campsites)
• Local tours or private bookings
7.2 No compensation will be provided for such arrangements if Event changes occur.
8. Misconduct, Safety & Removal from Event
8.1 The organiser reserves the right to deny entry or remove any Participant involved in:
• Misconduct, harassment, violence, or unsafe behaviour
• Violation of Event rules, local laws, or security instructions
• Intoxication or behaviour dangerous to self or others
8.2 No refunds will be issued in such cases.
9. Acceptance of Policy
9.1 By purchasing a ticket, the Participant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
9.2 The organiser reserves the right to update this policy at any time, with changes applicable prospectively and communicated via official channels.
